Winner of Taste Durham Awards
A record breaking 60 eateries in our county have received a TasteDurham award for quality, service and support for local food producers. The restaurants, hotels, farm shops, cafes, pubs, bars and bistros received their accolades at the third annual TasteDurham awards at Ramside Hall Hotel on Monday. The scheme has seen a 43 per cent increase in the number of businesses earning awards from last year and helps businesses and Visit County Durham promote the county's food and drink offer as being among the best in Britain.
