The Black Horse is a unique venue with great flexibility that can be booked for any occasion whether it be a special birthday, an anniversary or family celebrations. Whatever the occasion, the facilities available here are endless whether it be inside or outside, upstairs or downstairs, formal or informal we can reserve an area and cater for you.

The George Ridley Room, Gallery Bar and Terrace 

This is a magnificent room complemented by original stone walls, two open fires, high ceilings and bare oak beams which enhance the grandeur of the setting. The George Ridley room is attached to the Gallery Bar and heated outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the rolling countryside. The George Ridley can be used as a private dining room to seat up to a maximum of 45 guests for a sit down meal or used with the adjoining Gallery Bar to hold upto 80 people for an informal buffet.

The Orangery

This spectacular, light and airy space provides a completely unique venue for private dining. The Orangery can accommodate a maximum of 55 guests for a sit down meal.
