There’s so much for children of all ages to see and do at Red Row Estate. Take a walk around our grounds, use the enclosed play area at Black Horse Beamish or run through the Lavender fields to burn off some steam.
And once you’ve done all of that, you can head off to explore the local attractions, for example Beamish Museum and Tanfield Railway.

Located in the beautiful County Durham countryside, both Black Horse Beamish and Red Row Estate are the perfect place to create wonderful family moments and memories.
Children can eat and drink in our family friendly pub from £6.95. This includes a choice of main courses, dessert and a drink.
If the weather is pleasant you can also enjoy our beautiful garden and brand new enclosed outdoor play area and play park.

Afternoon tea - Bookings must be made by 6pm the day before. Please leave us a note with guest numbers, type of afternoon tea & dietary requirements as not all requests can be catered for on the day.
Deposits - If a deposit is required for a reservation it is fully refundable until 48 hours prior to booking. If cancellation is less than 48 hours the deposit is non-refundable.
We are unable to guarantee any special requests (e.g. table requests) but will try our best to accommodate.
