The Black Horse Beamish is a stunning 300-year-old estate nestled in the picturesque Beamish Valley. Offering a unique blend of history, luxury, and natural beauty, the estate features a charming pub and restaurant, luxurious accommodation, and flexible event spaces to host everything from weddings, private parties, funerals and corporate functions.

We’re a dog-friendly pub, well-behaved dogs are welcome in our bar area, where they can enjoy fresh water and treats from our doggy bar. We also offer dog-friendly accommodation options to ensure a comfortable stay for both you and your furry companion.
Traveling with an electric vehicle? We have two charging hook-ups available in our main car park (first come first serve). Charges apply via the app at the hook-up.

Our aim at the Black Horse Beamish is to offer a relaxed dining experience delivering freshly prepared dishes using the finest fresh locally sourced ingredients.

Our menu changes regularly according to what is available, as well as keeping the timeless pub classics such as our famous Bombardier Pie, Fish 'n' Chips and our Signature Sunday Lunch.

The Black Horse Beamish estate is surrounded by captivating countryside, making it the perfect backdrop for your special day. The sunrise and sunset hit differently here in the valley and one of the things we can promise is a beautiful background for your photography.

We have two unique wedding venues, our stunning Orchard Marquee which can seat a max of 349 guests for a wedding breakfast, and our more intimate George Ridley Suite, which has stone walls and a gorgeous fireplace with twinkly lights, accommodating a max of 50 guests.

We have various packages available, and our experienced wedding team will be on hand all the way from enquiry to delivery to make sure your day runs smoothly.
