Red Row Retreat

Perfect for big families, groups, or bridal parties, Red Row Retreat offers flexible luxury in a peaceful countryside setting. With two self-catering suites and two additional rooms, the retreat sleeps up to 10 guests and can be booked exclusively or as individual spaces. Stylish, spacious, and ideal for gathering, celebrating, or simply relaxing in comfort.

Huckleberry Cottage

Tucked away in complete seclusion, Huckleberry Cottage offers a true countryside escape. Set in the heart of the idyllic Beamish conservation valley, this charming self-catering retreat boasts panoramic views over rolling hills — and it’s just a short stroll from the Black Horse Beamish pub and restaurant. Pet Friendly Accommodation

Our ground-floor Old Red Row Rooms, Red Row Retreat and Huckleberry Cottage are all pet-friendly.

If you're bringing your four-legged friend along with you, there will be a small charge of £30 per pet, per night. If you would like to dine with your pet whilst you are here, our bar area is dog-friendly and we provide water bowls, dog treats, and poo bags.

Please note…

We do have one or two requests for guests bringing dogs to ensure that everyone gets the best experience at The Black Horse Beamish.

Please try to keep your furry friends off the beds.
Dogs are welcome to wander the estate, but please be mindful of the nearby wildlife.
Please clean up after them.

“The venue was spotless, and everything well planned. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the rooms, which was a great size and supplied with a bath and walk in shower. Both checking in and out went smoothly via reception.
All food, including the breakfast the following morning with very well cooked, and served in good time.”
