Are you looking to host a private dinner party to toast a significant birthday, special anniversary, retirement, baby shower, christening, retirement, or celebration of life?

The Black Horse Beamish would be delighted to host your special event, we offer a variety of catering options and bespoke packages which can be tailored to suit your budget. Our experienced event team will be on hand to help you plan your event from start to finish.

We off a choice of three spaces which can be booked exclusively depending on your event and requirements and guest numbers.

GEORGE RIDLEY SUITE, GALLERY BAR AND TERRACE

A decorated rustic banquet hall with stone walls, wooden chairs, and tables set with white tablecloths, purple runners, and floral centerpieces, with string lights and a chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

Our George Ridley Suite can cater for parties up to 60 guests.

The space is situated upstairs in the Black Horse Beamish and features original stone walls with high ceilings, exposed beams, twinkly lights and open fireplaces. The George Ridley room is attached to the Gallery Bar and heated outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the rolling countryside.

Please note this venue is not fully accessible.

THE ORANGERY

Adjacent to our charming pub and restaurant, our light-filled Orangery offers breathtaking views of the rolling countryside.

This versatile space can host parties for up to 50 guests.

Orchard Marquee

Our Orchard Marquee is one of a few permanent marquees in the North East and is available for larger gatherings. Complete with it’s own designated bar, catering facilities, dance floor and toilets. The space features stunning 8ft chandeliers, a fully integrated sound system, panoramic views of the countryside and plenty of outdoor space.
